Bubble baths.

Not a big bath fan, bro.

I'm a shower guy.

I just, I don't know, I think it's overrated man.

I only do bubble baths with women,

but I never do it alone.

I don't read in the bubble bath

or watch TV or have a glass of wine, it's too hot.

I love jacuzzis though.

Those are underrated.

Jacuzzis, oh!

I had fun in jacuzzis.

[upbeat music]

Dr. Seuss is underrated.

A lot of people know Dr. Seuss,

but Dr. Seuss is one of the greatest MCs

of all times, period.

Hip hop would exist without Dr. Seuss,

but I feel like he allowed us

to have some of those early old school nursery rhymes.

You know, when you hear like

old Run-DMC records, right?

Peter Piper picked pepper [mumbles].

Like, even though that's not a Dr. Seuss reference,

it's like he was in their heads at some point man.

I know they were rhyming thinking of Seuss.

Seuss brought really like deep wise sayings

and big stories and big myths into a very simple way

that babies could understand.

Seuss is the man.

Cannabis lube sounds amazing.

I heard about it,

I have not tried it.

I ain't been to Colorado to go get it,

but imma get it.

I thought about that.

Only thing I'm worried about

is it gonna have the same effect as edibles?

'Cause for me, I'm not an edible guy.

No, not good for me.

It's like, it takes me to the bad side of shrooms.

I don't wanna be there.

I don't think she does either.

So, I'm worried about it,

but I'm definitely into it.

Underrated, underrated.

Cross colors are underrated.

Underrated, they changed the game.

Love the colors.

It shaped the 90's.

I was a kid, I just came from Nigeria

trying to figure out America

and cross colors made me feel right at home.

[laughs]

Yo, I was like okay,

yeah I know those colors.

We got a lot of those colors where I'm from.

[upbeat music]

No, I don't deal with cheese man.

I was born in Wisconsin,

but I severely lactose intolerant.

All cheese is overrated to me.

I'm not a cheesehead yo.

I don't need that sour fungus in my life.

[upbeat music]

Palm wine, good one, underrated.

You get liquor from a tree.

Liquor from a tree.

From sap, from a tree.

Are you kidding me?

And fun fact about palm wine,

when the British were colonizing Nigeria,

it was the palm wine industry

that my family was involved in

and a lot of West Africans

and it was that business that actually

empowered a lot of the people in West Africa

to have a business that was in the international market.

So severely underrated man.

Palm wine is like freedom and party for me man.

It's both kind of parties,

a political party and a house party baby.

[upbeat music]

Oh man, you know,

what would Vampire Weekend be without highlife music right?

I grew up with barbecues,

listening to highlife music.

I love the melodies.

It's actually my hidden weapon.

It's been there since Classic Man, I was singing

♪ Oh me, oh me, oh my ♪

It sounds like, oh yeah that's just a little R&B melody

the secret was actually highlife

and singing in your nose.

[singing through nose]

[upbeat music]

Oh, self designed fashion, underrated bro.

Underrated.

I have more in common with

the Hasidic Jewish man in Crown Heights or an Amish man,

even though they don't have black Amish people mostly,

but I have more in common with some of their values

than I do like a fashionista walking through Soho

with a brown paper bag.

But mostly I'm designing my own clothes.

98% comes from fear and fantasy in my minds

and then we make it happen.

For me, I study a lot of leaders like Nehru,

you know, of course Nehru collars.

But prime ministers,

I just study people that walked around with a certain style.

Just something that was distinct.

Sometimes it's just the geometry of things.

Like I got certain right angles here

and then I might change the pocket square

to have a triangle angle to intersect with that.

That comes a lot from the architecture that I see.

That's what we are.

Triangles.
