Dogstar—the rock trio of guitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Rob Mailhouse, and bassist Keanu Reeves—have returned with “Everything Turns Around,” their first new song in over 20 years and the lead single from their newly announced album Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees. Dogstar have also announced a tour winding through North America and Japan that launches in August. Find those dates, along with the album details and the music video for “Everything Turns Around,” below.

“We are so excited to re-introduce Dogstar with our new single ‘Everything Turns Around,’” Dogstar said in press materials. “It feels like a fun summer song to us. It has an uplifting message and a positive vibe that hopefully makes your day a little bit lighter. It’s one of our favorite songs to play live and can’t wait to share it on our upcoming tour.”

This past May, Dogstar reunited at BottleRock Napa Valley for their first show since 2002. The group performed again on July 18 at West Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre. Of their upcoming trek, Dogstar added: “When creating this record, we were so excited about the idea of playing it live so we are thrilled to finally announce the Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour and to soon play for our fans all over North America and Japan.”

Dogstar formed in the early 1990s and released two albums—1996’s Our Little Visionary and 2000’s Happy Ending—before breaking up. The new album is out October 6 via the band’s own Dillon Street Records.
