Oneohtrix Point Never will return next month with a new album. Daniel Lopatin has announced Again, which is out September 29 via Warp. Find the album’s trailer below.

The follow-up to 2020’s Magic Oneohtrix Point Never is described in the announcement as “a speculative autobiography” and compares it to the concept behind 2015’s Garden of Delete. “The album imagines what might have been, as the musician made his music through space and time. Which decisions foreclosed some realities? What might those other worlds have sounded like?”

Following his work scoring the Safdie brothers film Uncut Gems, Lopatin stayed busy collaborating with the Weeknd. He was the musical director of the Weeknd’s 2021 Super Bowl halftime show and the executive producer of 2022’s Dawn FM. He also produced Soccer Mommy’s 2022 album, Sometimes Forever, and contributed to Weyes Blood’s And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow.
