Wilco have announced their new album, Cousin, with the lead single “Evicted.” The album—due out September 29 via dBpm—was produced by Cate Le Bon. It’s the first time since Sky Blue Sky that Wilco have used an outside producer. Check out the full tracklist and “Evicted” below.

Le Bon first met Wilco at the band’s Solid Sound Festival in 2019; frontman Jeff Tweedy then invited her to the band’s Chicago studio the Loft in 2022 to work on Cousin. “The amazing thing about Wilco is they can be anything,” Le Bon said of the collaboration. “They’re so mercurial, and there’s this thread of authenticity that flows through everything they do, whatever the genre, whatever the feel of the record. There aren’t many bands who are able to, this deep into a successful career, successfully change things up.”

Wilco are set to tour Europe and the United Kingdom in August and September before heading back to the United States for dates in September and October with My Brightest Diamond and Nina Nastasia. Tweedy just wrapped up a set of solo dates last week.
