Earth’s pioneering ambient-metal album, Earth 2: Special Low Frequency Version, is getting a special 30th anniversary reissue after being long out of print. Arriving November 3 via Sub Pop, it comes on colored vinyl with an extra-wide jacket, two color inner sleeves, and a double-sided insert featuring previously unreleased photos.

Also set for release that same day is the companion piece Earth 2.23 Special Lower Frequency Mix. The five-song remix collection includes contributions from the Bug, Flowdan, Justin K Broadrick, and more. Below, listen to the Bug and Flowdan’s new take on “Angels.”

Earth most recently released Full Upon Her Burning Lips in 2019. Two years before that, Earth and the Bug shared the collaborative Concrete Desert.
