Like the club-inspired beats on her new On the Radar freestyle with frequent sparring partners Kyle Richh and TaTa, the production is not as brooding as most drill; instead you could imagine it going off at 4 a.m. in a room with neon lights and steam machines. Don’t get it twisted, though, Jenn Carter keeps the spirit of drill intact even if the sound is for dancefloors rather than the block.
